Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. As a Space and Defense Correspondent Kristin Fisher is a reporter covering all aspects of space from NASA to the newly created Space Force as well as commercial space firms and tourism in space. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now worked as a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions on space issues. In that period she also covered impeachment proceedings for President Trump, the 2020 presdiential campaign, as well as two administration's efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Kristin worked her way through the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before being hired by the network. She won one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as the CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized making documentary-style videos for corporate customers like Uber Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelors of Science of Journalism at Boston University. The couple's husband and daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
